Hello!

Haven't done one of these in a while, but I figured I had enough things to announce so I could write an journal entry. Before I continue, thanks to anyone who's purchased my background design book, "SET THE ACTION!". It seems to be doing well, which makes me super happy, so if you are interested, please check it out on Amazon and the Focal Press site (as well as all other book stores! You can link to it on one of my previous journal entries), and if you've already bought a copy, please leave a comment either here or the Amazon page. I'd love to hear your thoughts.
So far, in terms of Conventions, I know I'm at least doing two this year, with the possibility of three if NYCC happens for me: San Diego Comic Con (where I will most likely be speaking as well as working in artist alley), and next week's Awesome Con in Washington DC! Awesome Con will be held next week at Washington Convention Center on April 20th-21st (that's next week!) I believe it's the first year it's being held, so if you're in the area, support this all new convention, and if you feel so inclined take a walk to artist alley! Come say Hi! I'll be drawing up commissions, selling prints and drawn sketch covers as well as Marvel Sketch Cards. And speaking of Sketch Cards...
I am still taking commissions for Marvel sketch cards, for all those interested (and thanks to those who've contacted me already). I still have some Upper Deck Marvel Cards, like the following:

Marvel Beginnings Sketch Cards: I have four cards left, at $50 a piece per commission.
Marvel Premier Sketch Cards: I have eight cards left, at $80 a piece per commission.

I will also be putting up card samples for a new card set with artist Robert Aragon, the subject of which will be classic monsters and actors from the golden age of cinema (Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney, etc.) I'll be posting an announcement on those with the images I post in the near future.
I am also working on other card sets that I can't really go into now (still tied to NDA's) but trust me, the variety of subjects for cards will definitely be growing, so keep an eye out!
