Manji

Another old piece, this one a published back cover for Blade of the Immortal, published by Dark Horse Comics. I didn't use the colored piece because, in all honesty, I think it looks hideous (I colored it, so I take all the blame for that.) The penciled piece is actually pretty cool, and one of my proudest moments, as I produced it in one night, one sitting, after the editor requested it at a convention. I was able to hand it in and he liked it enough to request it as the back cover of (I believe) issue 125. So yeah, a really exciting process, with a cool ending, I think.
